Adversity is something all humans wrestle with in varying degrees, in one form or another. It's woven into our fabric of being, and yet it is something that many of us have a hard time understanding and processing. Overcoming the Winds of Adversity is based on a story by the same name, and the moral of the story is about properly orienting us to facing the adversity we are presented with in our lives.

This image is inspired by one of the final scenes of the story where the main character, "Jaykob", comes face to face with his long time nemesis, and in a conclusively deciding battle, his ability to overcome adversity is put to a final test .

This is the clay model from which molds will be made and then the artwork will be cast.
