Bound on the Creator's Path- (Front View)

Bound on the Creator's Path, as has been suggested to me by a close friend and fellow artist, is a piece that is autobiographical in nature. Although that was not primarily my intention while making it, in retrospect, I believe that's mostly a true observation.

To me, it's about the nature of being a person who creates. For many “creatives”, it's hardwired into who we are, not just something we choose to do. It's something we must do or face the resulting repercussions of suppressing that drive at our own peril.

In this scene, you see a creator who, after having laboriously transformed, by his own hand, all that surrounds him into something beautiful and meaningful, forges his own path forward using only the raw materials at hand. He then breaks the chains that bind him to that place and time for the opportunity to move on and do it all again. That is his path in life and he is compelled to it.
